What counts as one API call?
Each request to any of our endpoints (summarize, translate, extract, etc.) counts as one API call, regardless of input size up to our per-request limits (100KB for text, 10MB for images).
Do failed calls count against my balance?
No. If a call fails due to a server error (5xx), you are not charged. Client errors (4xx) such as invalid input are also not charged. You only pay for successful calls.
How do volume discounts work?
Volume discounts are applied as prepaid credit packs. Purchase a pack of 1,000 calls at $400 (instead of $500) and the discounted rate is automatically applied. Credits never expire.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! When you sign up, you get 10 free API calls to test any of our capabilities. No credit card required.
Can I set a spending limit?
Absolutely. You can set a monthly spending cap in your dashboard. Once you hit it, calls will return a 429 status. You can raise the limit at any time.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and ACH bank transfers via Stripe. Enterprise customers can also pay by invoice with net-30 terms.
Do credits expire?
No. Purchased credits never expire. Use them whenever you need, at your own pace.
